Export
We compile exports from the German company database by industry and region. Every file has fifteen columns – from company name, legal form and register number to address, federal state and WZ code, through to phone, email and website. Not every record contains every field. You pay once, with no subscription.
File structure
Each row is a business, each column a data field. The structure is the same for all industries, so you can merge several exports or import them into the same CRM template.

An empty field means the information was not available in the sources – we never fill it in with an estimate. Column names in the CSV are in German.

The following rows are sample data. The companies in the table and in the sample file are entirely fictitious so that you can see the structure. Register numbers, VAT IDs and phone numbers are deliberately invalid, and the email addresses end in the reserved domain .example. This is neither a real extract nor a set of contacts for outreach.

Technical details
The standard format is CSV in UTF-8 with BOM, with a semicolon as the delimiter and CRLF line endings. Excel and LibreOffice Calc open this combination without character errors if you use the CSV import.

You receive the file by email as a download link. Other delivery methods or regular deliveries are agreed individually.

We quote the price on request, depending on industry, region and filters. All prices are final prices. What determines the price is explained under Pricing.
FAQ
Do not open the file by double-clicking it, otherwise Excel may display umlauts incorrectly and strip leading zeros from postcodes.
In an empty workbook, choose Data › From Text/CSV, set the file origin to Unicode (UTF-8) and the delimiter to semicolon. Set the PLZ column to text and confirm with Load. In LibreOffice Calc, the import dialog opens automatically.
We deliver CSV in UTF-8 with BOM, with a semicolon as the delimiter and CRLF line endings. Excel and LibreOffice recognise this combination reliably. If your application expects a comma or tab, we prepare the file accordingly.
The published data status is 15. Oktober 2026. The date the export was created is not the date each individual contact was checked.

Yes. By default we deliver all fifteen columns; on request you receive a file with only the fields you need for importing into your CRM. Records without a phone number or without a website can also be excluded.
Not without the recipients’ prior express consent. Under § 7(2) no. 2 UWG, email advertising without consent is unlawful, towards businesses as well. The email column is for identifying and maintaining business contacts, for example in a CRM – not for sending advertising.
That depends on industry, region and filters. Note the limit of 1,048,576 rows per Excel worksheet: on request, we split very large selections by federal state or deliver them as JSON.
